I have played countless of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have bet on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or defeat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that chemin de fer seems to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a few years back with $750 after 35 mins using this technique! And a couple of months ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the runs you notice betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Wager five dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original $5 bet
Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $10
Bet ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the initial ten dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of $20
Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 wager
Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first $160 bet
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
