I have gambled on millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have played online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of funds at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or beat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very fun at times. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a couple of years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this method! And a few months ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you see wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 table.
Bet 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10
Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first $20 wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first forty dollar wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $80 wager
Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first $160 wager
If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
