I have bet on countless of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent an abundance of funds at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely fun at times. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a few years ago with $750 after 20 mins using this tactic! And a few weeks ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the runs you witness playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.
Wager $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original $5 bet
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of $10
Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original $10 bet
Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet
Wager $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 wager
Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $80 wager
Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
